Experiments with acrylic paint and pouring medium...
I have much greater respect for people who make those satisfying acrylic pour videos on youTube. I thought it would be easy - just pop some paint in a cup with some pouring medium, to make it flow better, and pour it over a canvas…
These were our first attempts!!!
After a couple of tries I’m still not satisfied with the results. There are some nice textures in those that we did manage, but they’re small, roughly A5 size. When I thought about doing a pour I was thinking large canvas. More research is required.
Luckily we came across a large bottle of pouring medium on sale the other day…
